“Everybody Street illuminates the lives and work of New York’s iconic street photographers and the incomparable city that has inspired them for decades. The documentary pays tribute to the spirit of street photography through a cinematic exploration of New York City, and captures the visceral rush, singular perseverance and at times immediate danger customary to these artists. Covering nine decades of street photography, “Everybody Street” explores the careers and influences of many notable photographers––a number of whom have never been documented, featuring: Bruce Davidson, Elliott Erwitt, Jill Freedman, Bruce Gilden, Joel Meyerowitz, Rebecca Lepkoff, Mary Ellen Mark, Jeff Mermelstein, Clayton Patterson, Ricky Powell, Jamel Shabazz, Martha Cooper, and Boogie, with historians Max Kozloff and Luc Sante."

I chose to research him because i like his photos, they are all in black and white and all have different meanings, they are all fascinating and look really good. |

This image shows a young child who is standing up with her head on a window seal. The girl looks really tired and fed up and i dont think she is with anyone. Next to her there is some kind of bird in a cage on the window seal. And if you look out of the window you can see another building with blacked out windows. The image is still and clearly organized because i cannot see any blury parts and you can see the image fine. I think that the photographer was standing level with the child, but standing on tip toes, because it looks like its took from above but it doesn't look that high up. The background is through the window and you can see another building, i think they are old flats. If i could ask the photographer a question it would be, 'what was the young girls story/background?'.

This is my favourite image, because it has an interesting contrast from the trees at the far back, to the camera lense. And the photograph has diagonal lines, from where the shadows are. The main caption was of the black post which says 'memorial garden'. But i captured the things surrounding it, such as the grass, path, trees, and the lamp posts. I like the photo because it looks great!
EBI.
The photograph would have been better if i had stood back and had got more light into the image. Because both left corners are darker then the right corners. And if i had done that there would be much more contrast. But otherwise i wouldn't change it.
